Treadmills
Why Should I buy treadmill?
When running, treadmills offer you the best of many worlds: you can run inside, away from all the elements, uneven and uncertain ground, stoplights and pedestrians, trash cans and blockages and the many, many other problems that jump out at you and slow or hamper your run. A treadmill machine can eliminate all that. Not only will your run be smoother, but in buying treadmill you have purchased a powerful device that can only help you in your run, from professional running competitors to the casual person who just wants something to help keep themselves in shape.

The NordicTrack Reflex 4500 Pro
Nordictrack Reflex 4500 Pro. This treadmill in itself (including motor, the frame, console, specs) is fairly average, the deck is above average. The deck is comprised of a springboard composite material meant to be exceedingly strong, but flexible enough to absorb the impact of landing, and spring the back foot up when you lift off the board. It's similar to the tuned floor of a gymnast.
The Motor is a full 3.0 Horsepower, built to keep the RPMs low, and with a light belt. The frame is strong, solid, sturdy, stable, and quiet.
The Console has a touch screen display, a workout fan, a music port, built in speakers, Ifit live, 26 various workouts, a competition training center, and more. Most of what you would expect from Nordictrack.

The Sole F65 Treadmill Review
The F65 Model is a brand new middle model for 2011. The motor jumps up to a 2.75 CHP. With more power like this, the motor will remain at lower RPMs and will be quieter and last much longer without problems than a smaller motor would. The belt is a full 20″ width and a 58″ length with 2 ply thickness, the rollers are a full 2 1/2″ which help the belt move more smoothly and easily.
The incline of the machine goes up to 15%, the speed will reach 12MPH. The Deck can hold up to 350 lbs. The components are quality and strong enough to give the treadmill a sturdy and solid feel.

NordicTrack Elite 9700

Its extra strength will keep it from ever wearing out, and is still quieter than other treadmills. The motor features a lifetime warranty as well, making it a bargain.
The weight limit is 375 lbs, compared to the 350 lb limit on the previous 9500 model. Its deck is just somewhat stronger. This treadmill has 34 programs, more than the 28 offered before. And last, but not least, there is an 8″ Fan on this treadmill not found on the other.
Here are the impressive specs:
- 4.0 CHP Motor

roform Performance 400 treadmill. The least expensive (cheapest) treadmill made by Proform. To make a cheaper machine means that corner will have to be cut, that's just the nature of the beast. Here's the things to consider:
- The Drive system. This is the quality and power of the motor vs thickness of the belt, size of rollers, etc. If well done, the treadmill can be great. If the motor makes a high pitched hum while it runs, it usually means that it has a high RPM rate which means it will wear itself out much quicker.
- A deck and frame that is strong and stable. The deck can take a beating, and it can often crack. If the treadmill has a low weight capacity, it usually means the deck isn't very strong. A strong frame and deck make a big difference in the overall feel and noise of a treadmill. #3, the warranty. The warranty says it all. The longer a warranty, the better a machine. A short warranty (say 90 days or) means you shouldn't expect it to last much longer than that.
A decent machine, but look at the specs and don't expect a more expensive quality machine at a lower price.
